We've recently restocked some of our favorite items from Jungmaven as well as added new styles to our collection! Jungmaven's specialty lies in their hemp fiber clothing, sustainable and chic make the perfect combo in these fabulous styles.

What is Hemp?

Hemp, is a plant belonging to the cannabis family, but does not share the intoxicating effect that many of its other family members do. Hemp has been spun into fiber and other useful materials for centuries, such as; rope, paper, insulation, and even concrete! Some governments and organizations unfairly associate hemp with THC products despite Industrial Hemp (the kind used for clothes!) not containing it. Contrary to prior biases, hemp fibers are the future of clean fashion.

The new styles available are not only made of natural fibers, but help lower the carbon content of the planet. Jungmaven's website states "one hectare of industrial hemp absorbs over 24 tons of CO2" which can then be used to make beautiful clothes. It is biodegradable, naturally cleansing to environments it is planted in, naturally durable, and wonderfully soft, with a similar look to linen.

Some of our favorite styles are the Stillwater Romper; available in Hunter Green, Coyote, and Black. This romper is incredibly soft, solidly constructed, and most importantly 100% hemp! Another beautiful piece is the Hermosa Dress; available in Black and Coyote. This dress is simple, but elegantly constructed, with slits on the side allowing for movement and flow. Lastly, the reliable Lorel Tee; available in Washed White and Coyote.
